How to play
Rules, scoring and hints
The idea
You get a satellite tile of a place somewhere on Earth. Zoom in, look around,
then click the map on the right where you think that tile is.

Points vs XP
Points measure accuracy only, and never go above 5 000 in a round.
A perfect 5-round match is always 25 000, in every mode and at every difficulty.
XP is the reward on top: harder tiles and faster answers multiply it,
so tough settings level you up faster without inflating your score.

Playing with a clock
Time per round
Every round gets its own clock, from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. Run out and the round
ends with zero, but the next one starts fresh. Good for short, sharp games.
Time per match
One clock for the whole game. Spend three minutes on the first round and you leave
nothing for the rest — when it hits zero the match ends where it is. Good for a race.

Game modes
World Tiles
A tile from anywhere on Earth. You choose how wide it is — from 1 500 km down to 40 km.
Wider tiles are easier to place, narrow ones pay much more.
Guess City
The tile always sits on a city. Pick how well known the cities should be, limit them to
a continent or a single country, or switch to capitals only.
Country Mode
All rounds happen inside one country you choose. The tile size scales with how big that
country is, so a round in Portugal feels the same as one in Brazil.
Guess Country
Here you are naming the country, not the exact spot. Landing in the right country still
scores well, a neighbouring one scores a little, the right continent scores least.
Daily Quest
One location a day, the same for everyone, one attempt and no hints. It is followed by
seven questions about the country you landed in.
